As part of the accounting team this position is responsible for working in collaboration to complete tasks and reach goals across accounts receivable/credit and collections operations.  In conjunction setting risk tolerance levels for the accounting, sales, and executive team.  Maintaining standards of acceptable accounts receivable and credit practices.  Resolving delinquency while acting as a liaison; interacting with outside accounts/customers, accounting, sales personnel, and Century Executives.

Essential Functions include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Running and maintaining credit reports to access and open dialogue between Century and Customer base when necessary.
  • Posting cash receipts and related inquiries.
  • Customer contract review, written addendums if necessary, and ongoing contract maintenance.
  • Running / creating / maintaining daily, weekly, & monthly reports.
  • Collections resolution strategy when accounts are falling into delinquent status. Works with team of Century executives to reach corporate goals.
  • Legal forms and requirements upon exhaustion of internal measures to collect delinquent accounts.
  • Reports to accounting manager & executive team. Must be able to take direction from sales but operate within the acceptable standards set forth by the accounting department.


  • Associates/Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting related field or equivalent work experience to showcase skills necessary to fulfill essential job functions
  • Must perform job requirements independently while meeting deadlines and following instructions.
  • Above average analytical and decision-making skills are required. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • 2 years’ experience preferred
