Machine/Moulder Operator

Century Cabinetry of Leesport is seeking a skilled Wood Moulding Equipment Operator to join our team.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating production machines, ensuring adherence to established procedures and guidelines.  In addition to machine operation, this role involves mechanical programming, problem-solving, attention to detail and maintaining high production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production machines (Moulders) in accordance with established procedures.
• Select and install cutting heads and related tooling based on the pattern to be run.
• Inspect parts to specifications and make adjustments or tool changes as necessary to maintain quality standards.
• Verify dimensions using visual inspection, calipers, templates, and samples.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and repairs on equipment.
• Ensure compliance with company safety rules and regulations during machinery operation.
• Engage in bending, lifting, standing, and walking as needed for the role.
• Keep the workplace organized, clean and in order.
• Clean equipment and machinery regularly.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail
• Experience in operating wood moulding equipment
• Mechanical programming skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively
• Knowledge of safety procedures in machinery operation
• Physical stamina for bending, lifting, standing and walking
• Excellent organizational and cleanliness skills
